At the 118th National Day Celebrations at Lingkathang, Wangduechhoeling Palace in Bumthang yesterday, the Vice Chair of our Board of Directors Ms. Daphne Hoch Cunningham was conferred the National Order of Merit (Gold) in recognition of her and her family’s longstanding support and friendship with Bhutan. A philanthropist in arts and culture, she has been connected to Bhutan since 1973. Along with her family, she has supported education, social causes, and governance roles across nonprofit organizations, with a focus on contemporary art, cultural preservation, and community engagement.
