Today, we met the Chief District Education Officer (CDEO), the Principal District Education Officer (PDEO), and 17 school Principals from across Bumthang District to discuss areas of collaboration and partnership.
In close collaboration with Bumthang Sherig, the education sector of Bumthang Dzongkhag Administration, we will be rolling out a range of cultural and educational initiatives throughout the year, aimed at enriching student learning and deepening engagement with Bhutan’s culture and heritage.
The meeting also provided a valuable opportunity to share and further strengthen our educational and cultural visit programs at the Wangduechhoeling Palace Museum and Cultural Centre. Our Research Officer and Education Focal @Thegchog made a presentation on educational visits to make it more purpose-full and even curriculum oriented where possible.
We see this as a meaningful and mutually beneficial partnership, and we look forward with great enthusiasm to the year ahead.
