Exhibition: “Echoes of a Kingdom- A Tribute to the Bodhisattva King of Bhutan” inaugurated.

The Wangduechhoeling Palace Museum and Cultural Centre, in partnership with @bhutanechoes and the @bhutanfdn had the profound honor of inaugurating our first-ever collaborative art exhibition on the 25th of September 2025.

We were deeply blessed by the presence of Her Majesty Gyalyum Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck as the Chief Guest, whose gracious presence inspired and uplifted this special occasion. The exhibition, “Echoes of a Kingdom: A Tribute to the Bodhisattva King of Bhutan” by esteemed artist Tatjana Krizmanic, through her 70 exquisite artworks, beautifully honor the life and legacy of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Singye Wangchuck, a true Bodhisattva King whose reign embodies compassion, selflessness, and visionary leadership.

This year is indeed momentous as we mark the 70th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Great Fourth, His Holiness the 70th Je Khenpo, and Her Majesty Gyalyum Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck. On behalf of everyone gathered, we offered our humble prayers for their long life, good health, and continued well-being.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all distinguished guests, dignitaries, and friends who joined us today and especially to Tatjana for bringing her exquisite artworks to life within these historic palace walls.

We would like to wholeheartedly thank our partners Bhutan Echoes and the Bhutan Foundation for their unstinted support and collaboration in putting together this milestone event. We would also like to thank the Bumthang Dzongkhag Administration for their wholehearted support as always.

May this exhibition inspire dialogue, creativity, and collaboration, as we continue to open the doors of Wangduechhoeling Palace to art, heritage, and global partnerships.

We warmly invite everyone to come and enjoy this special exhibition. We are open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
