Today, we conducted a fire preparedness drill as part of our efforts to remain prepared and ready in the event of unforeseen incidents. Such drills are especially important for historic heritage sites and public places, where the safety of people and the protection of cultural assets are paramount.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Royal Bhutan Police, Bumthang, for their support and guidance in conducting today’s drill and look forward to continued support in our collective endeavour to safeguard our heritage sites. Through this exercise, our staff are better equipped to respond effectively during emergencies, giving us greater confidence and preparedness. Such drills will be conducted periodically.
